Margaret Linn joined Beadhead on vocals at Coyotes on October 15. She is a veteran of the Portland music scene and sings with Curtis Salgado and has fronted the Bobby Torres band. She rocked the house at Coyotes. We are happy to announce that she will be joining Beadhead on a number of upcoming gigs.
We wrapped up the summer of 2011 with a double header on September 24. An acoustic trio version of Beadhead featuring John, Jay and Steve played the Hillsboro Saturday Marketplace. That evening we played the annual Jimmy Buffett Bash at Bleachers. That’s a lot of music for one day–and a lot of setting up and tearing down equipment. Beadhead had great weather for the six outdoor venues we played this year, ranging from the Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace in July to the Cheeseburger in Paradise Party at St. Josef’s Winery to a number of outdoor private parties. The weather was great and we hope you all had as much fun as we did. Looking to the Fall, we are back at The Tillicum and Coyotes a number of times. We hope to see you there. We’ll be adding some songs–maybe even bring back a few of our zydeco songs. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming gigs.
